At Star-X Body waxing and Skin retreat, I am dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming, safe, and relaxing environment for every guest. To ensure the best possible experience, I have established the following policies. These policies protect both my time and yours, as well as ensure that every appointment runs smoothly. Thank you for understanding and respecting them.
 
1. Appointments
Services are available by appointment only to ensure personalized attention for each guest.
I highly recommend booking your appointment in advance to secure your preferred date, time, and service.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible by contacting me through my website, text message, or email. While I’ll do my best to accommodate you, your service time may need to be adjusted or, if necessary, rescheduled.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to allow another guest the opportunity to book.
 
2. Cancellation and No-Shows
To book an appointment, a card on file is required; however, no deposit is necessary. Your card will only be charged if you cancel late, fail to show up, or arrive after the grace period.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the service price, charged to the card on file.
If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, you will also be charged a 50% no-show fee.
This policy ensures that I can continue to serve all my guests effectively. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.
 
3. Late Arrivals
I understand that life happens, and I allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 10 minutes, the appointment will be marked as a no-show, and the 50% fee will apply.
Late arrivals may require service adjustments to fit the remaining time. This helps ensure that all appointments for the day stay on schedule.
This policy not only protects my schedule but also respects the time of other guests who are booked after you. Thank you for understanding.
 
4. Inappropriate Behavior
I strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. Inappropriate behavior, such as harassment, discrimination, or offensive language, will not be tolerated.
Any guest engaging in inappropriate behavior may be asked to leave immediately, and I reserve the right to refuse future service.
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please notify me so I can address the situation promptly.
 
5. Professional Boundaries
I maintain professional boundaries to ensure every guest feels comfortable and respected.
Your personal information and any details shared during your appointment will always remain confidential unless required by law or shared with your explicit consent.
 
6. Equity
At Star-X Body waxing and Skin retreat, everyone is welcome and valued. I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment free from discrimination or harassment.
If you experience or witness any form of discrimination, please inform me immediately so appropriate action can be taken.
 
7. Prices
My prices are clearly displayed on my website and are non-negotiable.
Any changes to pricing will always be communicated in advance.
I am happy to honor promotions and discounts that meet the terms and conditions specified.
 
8. Payments and Gratuity
I accept payments via credit/debit cards, Zelle, Apple Cash, and cash. I do not accept personal checks.
Payment is due at the time of service. Online payments are processed securely at the time of booking, and in-person payments are collected at the end of your appointment.
Gratuities are not included in service prices but are always appreciated. You can leave gratuity in cash, via card, or through other accepted payment methods.
 
9. Privacy and Security
Your privacy is extremely important to me. All personal and payment information submitted through my online platform is encrypted and stored securely.
I will never share or sell your information to third parties.
 
10. Refunds
I do not offer refunds for services that have already been performed.
If you are unsatisfied with your service, please let me know right away so I can work with you to address your concerns.
 
11. Lost or Stolen Items
Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. While I will do my best to locate any lost items, Star-X is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
 
12. Cell Phones and Electronics
To maintain a calm and relaxing environment, I kindly ask that you silence your cell phone and avoid using electronics during your service.
 
13. Sanitation and Hygiene
Your health and safety are my top priorities. I use hospital-grade disinfectants to sanitize all equipment, linens, and treatment areas between each guest.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio, and I kindly ask all guests to wash or sanitize their hands before and after their service.
 
14. Photography
Photography and videography are not permitted during services unless approved by me. This protects both your privacy and the comfort of others.
